Introduction
My name is Suliana Vanessa Gonzalez. I was born December 3, 1997 at around 10 PM. I am the second oldest out of four children. I'm Latina, Mexican American. Both my parents were born and raised and Mexico, but I was born here. I'm quite, timid, and introverted. I am also loud, passionate, caring, and ambitious. Some might even say I can be salty. Those who know me well, know me as Suly. I love to listen to music, and if you ask my siblings they will say I'm constantly singing. I listen to all kinds of music from classical, to mainstream radio pop, to rock, to music in Spanish. I love writing, and have notebooks filled with writing. I love reading so much, that when I was younger my mom wouldn't let me get my hands on a book until I finished all my homework. My goal in life is to become an author and a neurosurgeon. I want to write books that take the reader away from the world and their troubles, at least for a moment. I want to go to less fortunate countries and offer my services. I want to create, help, and share.
Quote
No this is not from Drake, though it is similar. To me this quote means the although you do have one life, one should be all you need. This shouldn't be used as an excuse for reckless behavior, but a motivation to live your life the way you want to. To persevere and make the most out of everything.

AMES Memory
It was my freshman year and I had walking for fitness. This is the class where I met my best friend, Rachel Medina. We were walking, like you do in walking for fitness, and I had a purple paper paper, which was small, that I wasn't suppose to lose. Fast forward fifteen minutes and as we were walking I saw a small piece of purple paper on the floor. I looked at it, squinted, and asked "Is that mine?" I went to go pick it up and said "It is mine!" Now this wouldn't normally be anything to remember, except that Rachel started laughing really, really hard. I had no idea why, but hearing her laugh made me laugh. We could not stop laughing and Rachel had tears in her eyes from laughing so hard. If you ask her why she laughed She'll say It is because I made a funny expression or something.
The reason why I chose this as my AMES memory is because it was where I met by best friend. It was one of the first of many, many times where we have laughed so hard to the point of crying. Now as a senior it is nostalgic to look back at my freshman year and remember where we met and how we got along so well instantly. Now we're both graduating, going to different colleges, but succeeding together. Though we may be going to different universities, friends who succeed together, stay together. It is nice to go back and see where this friendship started |
